- Bai Cheng (Bai Shan's cousin) during a tournament, every attack he makes is to maim or kill XIao Yan, this result in Xiao Yan eventually attacking him with his full strength and knocking him off the stage and heavily injured, it is mentioned even if he doesnt die he will be crippled for life

For those that missed my post about upcoming seasons here we go:

- Fanren Xiu Xian Zhuan - 14 episodes for the first half of the next season, the latter half will probably be done later, since that is what it's two studios usually do. Sources say it should be released in the first half of 2023
- Wudong Qiankun - 12 episodes has been submitted for approval, season 4 will be produce by the same studio as season 3, the season will be split into 2 arcs, sources indicate either it will be released at end of the year or early next year
- Doupo Cangqiong - season 6 has 26 episodes, 4 arcs in total submitted for approval, so this indicates maybe, and I say maybe, season 6 will continue right after season 5 ends (52 episodes)
- Seal of Throne - second season has 36 episodes submitted for approval
- Stellar Transformations next season trailer was released in August, but the studio said that they wont start work on it until 2023, which will probably mean that it might be released late next year

not neccesarily. other factions might not care about them and be neutral. If I understand correctly not everyone is in a faction or theres lots of nonsense no-name factions already anyway. So forming their own faction is better than these 2 options. Also their leader is fairly strong. So no one will take their flames now.

Very little besides few level advancements, in academy petty squabble or arranged non-lethal sparring is the highest form of fighting. Things get a little better when he goes out of academy later as part of academy missions, but whole plot finally starts when academy arc is finished. This is where novel really starts with plot about history and clans

I see. The phrase "history and clans" really stirs my imagination to cool stuff :) I hope this novel becomes very complex with many clans and not have 1-3 clans that are the main clans obviously in the past, present and the future and everything else is obviously not important. Also a rich history should have admirable and interesting past clans that have dissapeared or been wiped for whatever reasons as well as similar clans having merged together. Otherwise everything is too predictable. Assassin creed games have a lot of these. Everytime you hit some new piece of information it actually makes you think and its not always easily predictable.

Yes, it is god damn cool. You learn who Xiao Yan and Xun'Er are, you learn why she was at Xiao clan, you learn how world devolved to the point where no one can reach Dou Di level and many more things.

But, if you read Dragon Prince Yuan and WDQK, things make even more sense. This history is just minor part of 5 book history and events only cover one minor plane, but all 5 share same antagonists and historical events.

Just as reference.
- Dragon Prince Yuan happens 20000 years before WDQK and BTTH in completely different universe (Saint/fiend origin) where Yuan defeats Saint God and Saints (fiends)
- WDQK and BTTH happen at the same time on different minor planes. WDQK fiend war ended in stalemate after both sides reached complete exhaustion and need time, BTTH ended with fiend loss. Both end with no real ending (as in MCs ascend and... well, that's that)
- TGR happens 20000 years after WDQK and BTTH on main plane of universe where BTTH and WDQK are. It also introduces history of 40000 years before when after DPY fiends (ex Saints) cross universes and try to take over. Also introduces one more minor plane where fiends won. Story also wraps up WDQK and BTTH after their ascension
- Heavens list happens right after TGR and MC is half fiend/half human

that sounds really epic. Im afraid I might be an old man when they finally decide to animate all these with proper animation and have lots of episodes available. DId you read them all, if so whats your favorite book and why? Which one do you think has the best material for making an anime like BTTH?

Well, Wu Shen Zhu Zai which is my favourite is running without breaks and is produced faster than novel is being released. Good story, cool MC and never boring. Just animation was a bit subpar, but that just changed and it is really good adaptation

Personally, from all CMA novels I would love most if Jiandao Di Yi Xian (The first sword Immortal) got next season and continued. Novel is awesome and adaptation is wonderful. It is just that season 1 ended just when boring stops and action starts. Everything from MC to story to antagonists is awesome and adaptation is perfect

Next would be R-18 properly done Jian Xian Zai Ci and not the R-3 crap that was released. Novel is absolutely hilarious, but all content is R-18... sex, gore, humiliation, idiocy... But, released version cut like 99% of humor, torn out all sex, gore and humiliation and then threw additional animation fiasco where watching MA fight resembles watching paraplegic acrobatics.

After that is this 5 (in order from best to worst WDQK, TGR, DPY, BTTH, HL) and Martial World (no animation yet and no announcement)

I read them all, yes. All together are one of top CMA reads, while separate quality drops a little due to wtf endings (not for Yuan and HL or even Great Ruler. In case of last one, ending just doesn't conclude fiend saga), good stories... just ending is... they ascended... and??? wtf?

The only one missing of 5 will be Heaven's List. In 2023, both Yuan and Great Ruler should start.

As far as HL goes, it is more like epilogue than novel, although it is its own story, it also serves to put ends to all stories and questions (Main protagonist is married to daughter of Mu Chen and friend of Xiao Yan/Lin Dongs grandchildren). Only 140+ chapters. Around 10 times shorter than others. So, it makes sense to wait with this one while all others you can read/watch simultaneously without slightest problem as long as you know when and where in story that is.
